The Department of Food Hygiene is a part of the accredited testing laboratory No. L 1129 "SVI Jihlava Laboratories". We carry out comprehensive microbiological, mycological and sensory analyzes of food and raw materials for their production, feed and raw materials for their production, smears from the environment and drinking water in accordance with European and national legislation.
We focus mainly on the control of health and microbiological safety of food, as well as the specific microbiological parameters required when trading food and raw materials outside the EU.
For food business operators, we conduct shelf-life studies of ready-to-eat foods supporting the growth of Listeria monocytogenes.
We also perform detection and quantification of allergens, bacterial toxins, soy in meat products and control of gluten-free foods.
As part of the "ONE HEALTH" approach, we measure the barn microclimate and analyze decomposition products (digestates, composts).
On request, we provide consulting and advisory services and, if necessary, professional presentations.
